Moments To Remember is looking for our March Guest Design Team Member!

In order to be considered for the GDT spot, you will need to create a layout based on this wonderful layout by our very own Design Team member, Jenni Smith. http://moments-2-remember.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-1041


* You will need to submit one layout based on the sample layout to: robinl_rutgers@hotmail.com
* The deadline for submission is February 25.
* A winner will be announced on or before February 27.
* You will recieve the March kit and must create 3 layouts and either one altered project or card with the kit.
* The GDT will be required to host one challenge for our members.
* No international entries at this time.


Participation on the M2R message board and gallery is strongly encouraged.
We would love to get the chance to get to know those applying for the position.

M2R Design Team Call:

That's right! The time has come to add some fresh faces and talent to our
Design Team! Our current team has done an unbelievable job and we are
thankful to have them on our team. Now it is time for Moments to Remember
(M2R) to get ready for the SPRING with some new ladies on our Design Team.

Are you enthusiastic, fun, chatty, talented and a bit crazy? That's what
we're looking for!

Requirements for Entry:

Submissions:

Submissions will be taken from: February 17 through March 7, 2008

Winners will be notified no later than March 14, 2008 via email. Be
ready to start April 1, 2008. You will be required to upload layouts for the April kit by April 1 for the reveal of our new kit.

Please include in your email: Name, address, phone number, link to
your blog (if you have one) and any online galleries that display the scope
of your work.

Please submit: 3 layouts, any size and 1 altered project to Robin at robinl_rutgers@hotmail.com

**Please also send a paragraph or 2 of why you would like to be chosen for the
DT.

Participation on the M2R message board and gallery is strongly encouraged.
We would love to get the chance to get to know those applying for the position.


Design Team Requirements:

The Design Team will be required to complete: At least 3 layouts and either one altered project or a card each month.
Participation on our Message Boards and in our galleries is a MUST.
This includes posting on the boards, leaving comments in the gallery,
posting challenges/questions, moderating at least 1 thread on our forum and
encouraging others!
There will be a Design Team monthly rotation for hosting challenges, teaching classes (a how-to for an altered project or layout), being the Design Team featured member of the month or submitting how-to articles for the Moments To Remember newsletter.


The Design Team Featured Member of the Month, will receive the full kit for that month. All other Design Team members will receive a partial kit.

DT members should use the M2R DT blinkie and promote M2R where ever and when
ever possible! We want each DT member to be proud to be a Design Team Girl!


Please note that this is not a contest, so we are not necessarily looking
for the BEST projects. Rather, we are looking for the best designers who fit
into our friendly and encouraging community and are interested in helping us
GROW and add new members to the site!

February Featured Scrapper!!

Hi ~ I’m Melody Zahara and live here in Canada on Vancouver Island, BC. I’m married to my best friend Monte, have 2 wonderful daughters (Juanita and Mel Jr.), two fabulous grandkids (Hayley and Tavis) and a great son-in-law (Derek), whom are all the main focus of my scrap booking. I’ve been scrappin for about 3 ½ years now..and yep..I’m *totally addicted*. I scrapbook to preserve our memories and as an outlet of energy and creativeness (and sometimes just to relieve stress). I love to try new techniques and am not afraid to step out of the box. I love freestyle, shabby chick, white space los and WUV cutting with my xacto knife. I especially love flowerz and dimension on my los. I love challenges, snappin pics and editing. Outside of scrappin, I spend time with the family, snappin those pics, drawing, painting with watercolors, cross-stitching and love the outdoors ~ camping and sitting by the fire. I’m learning to play the guitar and love to cook. Scrapbooking has become a part of my daily living, from snappin those pics to creating los to thinking of those creations and sometimes even going to bed dreaming of that next lo.
