3 Bugs In A Rug Cotton Shop!!!!!

This is such a fabulous line of papers!!! It has perfect fall colors and centers around a family theme. The Design Board and Chit Chatstickers are just the right elements to help bring together the family theme!! The brand new coordinating felt flowers are so fun and add such a nice, warm feel to any layout or project. The papers, which are all named after different types of fabrics, are a 65# heavy weight pattern paper. Each sheet has a wonderful pattern on one side with a coordinating solid color on the other side!! The Chit Chat Stickers are a heavy cardstock sticker. There are 26 stickers per sheet. Some of the stickers contain quotes or sayings about family. The stickers come in an assortment of shapes and sizes...making them an easy choice for any page!! The Design Board helps add just the right deminsion to a project. They are white core, which makes them great for sanding and giving an aged look to!! The Design Board comes in several shapes and sizes with family quotes and sayings on them as well. There is also a fun bookplate!! This collection of paper is so fun to use and the colors are fantastic!! The teals, creams and red tones make this line perfect for all those fabulous fall family photos!!

Using Paint on your Layouts by: Jenn B.

Using paint doesn't have to be scary!
Have you ever wanted to use a piece of patterned paper as your background but it was too "loud"?
Have you ever wanted to "ink" something but didn't have the right colors?

Use paint!!!

1. Paint can be used to:
2. Brush over paper to tone down a pattern.
3. Brush over paper and then used for a journaling spot.
4. Make dots or other shapes to form a frame.
5. Alter embellishments.
6. Rubbed along the edge of paper or pics using the inking technique.
7. Stamp! Get out those stamps, you can use paint just like ink.

The thing to remember with paint is, start out small. You can always add more! I find that the cheap sponge brushes from your local craft store work best for applying paints. Blot the sponge and start out by lightly adding your paint. If you want more coverage, just do it again! I like to mix colors, that is something you cant do with your inks! Try using a few different paints to create custom shades! Finally, let your paint dry before adding your pictures and finishing your LO!

That's right!! the time has come to add some fresh faces and talent to our Fall Design Team!
Our current team has done an unbelievable job and we are thankful to have them on our team. Now it is time for Moments to Remember (M2R) to get ready for the fall with some new ladies on our Design Team.

Are you enthusiastic, fun, chatty, talented and a bit crazy? That's what we're looking for!

Submissions:
Submissions will be taken from August 6, 2007 to August 25, 2007. Winners will be notified no later than August 27, 2007 via email. Be ready to start September 1!
Please include in your email: Name, address, country, phone number, link to your blog (if you have one) and any online galleries that display the scope of your work.
Please submit: 3 layouts, any size and 1 altered project to Robin at robinl_rutgers@hotmail.com Please also send a paragraph or 2 of why you would like to be chosen for the DT.

Design Team Requirements:
The Design Team will be required to complete at least 2 Layouts, 1 card or tag and actively participate in our online challenges and projects. Participation on our Message Boards and in our galleries is a MUST. This includes posting on the boards, leaving comments in the gallery, posting challenges/questions ,moderating at least 1 thread on our forum and encouraging others! The Design Team will also be required to do write ups for the Moments To Remember newsletter that will showcase tips and how-tos or reviews of product that can be purchased in the Moments To Remember store.

Our members look to the Design Team as mentors to help them better their craft.
You will receive 1 package a month of papers and embellishments to work with for the required layouts, as well as a 25 % discount in the store! Your photo, bio and selected layouts will be featured on the Design Team page of our site! DT members should use the M2R DT blinkie and promote M2R where ever and when ever possible! I want each DT member to be proud to be a Design Team Girl! Please note that this is not a contest, so we are not necessarily looking for the BEST projects. Rather, we are looking for the best designers who fit into our friendly and encouraging community and are interested in helping us GROW and add new members to the site!
